Ryan Costello is a current member of the Fort Myers Miracle of the Florida State League, where he wrapped up his first full season of Minor League Baseball by hitting a go ahead 3-run Home Run in the championship game to lead his team to victory. His final numbers were .258/.353/.459 with 20 home runs and 79 RBIs across both A and A+. He was an All-Star for the Clinton LumberKings prior to being involved in a deadline swap where he was sent from the Mariners to the Twins. Ryan also lead the Arizona Fall League with an OPS of 1.064 after being drafted in the 31st round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners. In 2017 he closed out his career at Central Connecticut State University by earning All-Northeast Conference First Team and New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association All-New England Second Team honors. He tied a CCSU single-season record with 22 doubles, hit a league-leading nine home runs, accounted for a team-high 52 runs scored and 52 runs batted in. His final numbers of .296 with 32 extra-base hits and a .532 slugging percentage were boosted thanks to Ryan going 3-for-3 with three runs scored against Dallas Baptist in the NCAA Tournament on June 4 while compiling 18 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI games over the course of the season.

John Russell is a native of Glastonbury, CT. He attended Glastonbury High School and earned All-State honors his senior year. After high school Russell walked on to The University of Connecticut baseball team. In 2017 he broke the single season saves record at UConn with 14 saves and earned ABCA/Rawlings All American honors.  Later that year he was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 2017 MLB Draft. In His first full season with the Augusta Greenjackets (Low-A) Russell posted an 8-5 record with 7 saves, a 2.49 ERA and 71 strikeouts through 61 innings before earning a promotion to the San Jose Giants (High A) at the end of the year.
